Chapter II E-Bookstore Catalogue

Welcome to the Chapter 2 E-Bookstore.

If you have visited the Chapter Two Bookstore in the Cascade Public Library, then you know there are some wonderful books available at very affordable prices. But, because store space is limited, we can only make a small portion of our inventory available there at any given time. That's why the online store is designed to make you aware of additional titles and offer you the opportunity to reserve one or more books for pick-up at the library.

Here’s how to Use the E-Bookstore.

The Friends of the Cascade Library (FOTL) will update this catalogue at least monthly and notify you if you have not opted out of our mailing list. Here's all you need to do:

  1. Find the books(s) you want: If you don’t see anything interesting this time, check again later.
  2. Place a hold on the book(s): Just send an email to cascadefriends47@gmail.com (link below) and provide (a) your name; (b) your phone number; and (c) the titles & authors of the books you want to reserve. We will notify you within 24 hours whether the book has been put on hold for you or if it has already been claimed.
  3. Pick Up & Pay: We will hold the books for you for two weeks. To pick up your book, come to the Cascade Library during operating hours (9:30-8 M-Th, 9:30-6 F, 9:30-5 Sa) and find your books in the glass cabinet to the left as you enter the Chapter II bookstore. Pay for them in cash at the main checkout counter. If you have a change of heart once you see the book, you are not obligated to buy it. But, please give it to a librarian at the front counter on your way out. We hope to be able to accept charge cards very soon. If you put a hold on a book, please do your best to pick it up in a timely way.
  4. We Need Feedback: We have other categories of books that didn’t make the first issue of the catalogue. So, if you’re more interested in sports, religion, biography, self-help, business, diet/exercise, home/garden, travel, reference or something else, let us know.
